Instead of buying the licensed theme character (Elmo, Hello Kitty) paper goods that are super expensive and end up in the trash anyway, find a solid color that matches the theme character. You can use the computer to print out the character picture, get dollar store frames all kind of sizes and put them on the table. This is an awesome way to save money and you can use the frames over again when your child decides next year he or she wants a different character. Find out more ways to save on Birthdays and Graduations at our next Heather's Frugal Living class: Sunday Sept. 28th 10:30 - 12 noon.
